Johnny is learning
Johnny is potty training and is rewarded when he makes it to the toilet.Johnny couldnt make it to the bathroom and he had an accident all over the floor his parents were a little angry knowing that he is still learning but johnny feels guilty because he thinks he is going to get in trouble.This is the third stage in Erickson's theory Autonomy vs. shame and doubt. The child may instead develop shame and doubt about their ability to handle problems. -
