Jul 15, 1885 When he was going to Europe his boat was sinking but he was not afraid Dec 25, 1885 Franklin liked to give presents to kids that had less than him. Jan 22, 1888 Franklin's mother always wanted him to wear dresses and have long hair. He told his mom he wouldn't do it anymore. Aug 1, 1888 Franklin learned how to read and write before he even went to school. Jun 1, 1890 Franklin was bossy to his friends. Apr 15, 1891 Franklin's dad was sick. He had a heart attack. Period: Jun 1, 1891 to Aug 31, 1896 Franklin spent five summers with old people who were sick. Jun 30, 1891 Franklin was thrown in the pool and almost drowned. Sep 15, 1892 Franklin was brave and did not cry when boys were making fun of him at school. Period: Apr 1, 1898 to May 31, 1900 Franklin helped in churches and taught Sunday School. May 15, 1898 Franklin wanted to join the navy with his friends, but he didn't make it. Period: Jun 15, 1898 to Aug 31, 1899 Franklin taught boys from the Boston slums water sports at summer camp. Oct 15, 1898 Franklin wanted to be President but his parents didn't want him to. Dec 15, 1898 Franklin did a little play at his boarding school. Period: Dec 15, 1898 to Feb 28, 1900 Franklin put away snow for an old lady and made sure she had lots of food. Jun 1, 1900 Franklin graduated from boarding school. Aug 15, 1921 Franklin caught polio and was paralyzed from the chest down. Nov 8, 1932 Franklin was elected President. He was elected President 4 times! Apr 12, 1945 Franklin Roosevelt died.
