    Also called the great war. It was a global war that took europe as the main stage. This world involved all of the worlds great powers. The war was between two sides, The allies ( UK, France and Russia) and the central powers( Italy, hungary andgermany). The Allied powers won.
  • The Holocaust

    The persecution of 6 Million jews by the nazi regime. This event gained the sympathy of the world toward jews all around europe and opened their eyes on the terror that the jewish population was suffering.
  • Isreali declaration of Independence

    This event sealed the fate of the enmity between the Arabs and the zionists to last forever. That day, zionists declared their right to establish a country on a land that is not their's. however, USA and the majority of the world clapped for this event for seeing their young girl Isreal becomming a promising jewish homeland. Thinking that this is what they deserve after suffering all kinds of persecution and terror in Europe.

    Was a militray revolt against the monarchy of king Farouq. The revolution was lead by Jamal abdelNasser who later becomes the president of the republic of egypt. This revolution scremed terms like equality and rebirth of the Arab unity. These concepts moved the hearts of the people towards a nationalistic dream where the Arabs actually find their worth as a nation.

    The soviet union was one of the strongest of not the strongest super powers of the 20th century. The soviet union was the center of the communist movment. The begining of its end started early in 1985 where the countries recourses was exhausted at the expense of economic development because of the cold war. The soviet union was not strong enough economically any more and most countries started demanding to disband from the union, All of that lead to the weakining and collapse of the union.
