Montresor Timeline

    This is the event where Montresor found Forunato drunk, where he decided to try and kill him. So he tricks Fortunato into going to the tomb of Armontillado

  • Tomb of Armontillado

    Montresor takes Fortunato down to the tomb, where he finds out Fortunato is also sick.

  • Tomb of Armontillado

    Fortunato sickens, so Montresor offers wine to help him, secretly getting him drunk so he can kill him easier

  • Tomb of Armontillado

    Montresor grabs Fortunato and chains him to the wall. Fortunato is so drunk he can't defend himself

  • Tomb of Armontillado

    He builds a wall so Foortunato can't get out. Fortunato is sober now and begs for mercy.

  • Tomb of Armontillado

    Montresor leaves Fortunato and is pleased with himself.
