  • The First Gulf War

    The First Gulf War was a war between the forces of the United Nations led by the United States and Iraq. Saddam Hussein ordered the invasion.
  • World Trade Center Bombing

    The bombing of the World Trade Center took place in New York City, New York. Six people were killed in the bombing. They attacked the area with car bombs and mass murder. The motive of the incident was United States support for Israel and American foreign-policy.
  • Oklahoma City Bombing

    The bombing occurred when a truck packed with explosives exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The bombing left 168 people dead and about 680 people injured.
  • United States involvement in Serbia

    The US declared war on Yugoslavia to take part in Operation Allied Force. Out of all the Yugoslavia territories, Serbia was bombed the most due to its military.
  • USS Cole bombing

    The USS Cole was attacked by suicide bombers. The explosion ripped a hole in the ship, killing 17 soldiers. Thirty-nine other people were injured.
  • 9/11

    The attack was done by an Islamic terrorist group called al-Qaeda. There were 2,996 deaths. The types of attacks used were suicide bombing, mass murder, aircraft hi-jacking, and terrorism.
  • Invasion of Afghanistan

    The Afghanistan War was triggered by the September 11 terrorist attacks. Taliban-controlled Afghanistan was an intense bombing campaign by American and British forces.
  • Invasion of Iraq

    The 2003 invasion of Iraq signaled the start of the Iraq war. The Iraq war consisted on two phases. The first one was a short war with combined United States and British soldiers. The second one was a little bit longer.
  • Boston Marathon bombing

    There were two bombs that went off during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. There were 16 people who lost their limbs, 5 dead, and 264 non-fatal injuries.
  • Stoneman Douglas High School shooting

    A mass shooting occured at Stoneman Douglass High School on February 14, 2018. There were 17 deaths and 17 non-fatal injuries.
