Nidal Malik Hasan who was a U.s. Army Mahor and a jihadist orchestrated the mass murder of 13 people while injuring at least 30 more. This happened in Fort Hood in Texas. He has been linked with the Soldiers of Allah and so some believe that this attack might have been religiously motivated though there are other theories.

Two bombs exploded during the Boston marathons killing three on the scene and injuring an estimated 264 more people on scene. Shortly after that the suspects supposedly shot and killed and MIt police officer while he sat in his car and began a manhunt to find both suspects. One was killed during a firefight with the police and the other escaped thought wounded. He was later found in the backyard of a Watertown resident and was later charged with his crimes.
