Munich Olympics
Located Munich, West Germany. Olympics was held Aug. 26th to September 11th. Eight Palestinian terrorists, called Balck September, there were eleven hostages; two were killed in their rooms in the morning & nine were killed at the airport at night. The primary cause of the attack by Black September would be the Israel-Palestinian conflict. -
Grand Mosque Seizure
An Armed attack of the Al-Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Hundreds of people present for the annual hajj were taken hostage, and hundreds of militants, security forces and hostages caught in crossfire were killed in the battles for control of the site. The ended two weeks after the takeover began with militants and the mosque was cleared. This event was led by Juhayman al-Otaybi & his followers. 240 people dead & 600 injured. -
Beirut Barracks Bombing
Happened during the Lebanese Civil War, two truck bombs struck separate buildings housing United States and French military forces—members of the Multinational Force (MNF) in Lebanon—killing 299 American and French servicemen. A group calling themselves 'Islamic Jihad' were responsibe for the bombing. 60 men were injured. This was a suicide bombing. -
World Trade Center Bombing
A truck bomb was parked under the North Tower of the World Trade Center. It was suppose to knock down North Tower, bringing both towers to knock down & killing thousands of people. It failed but it killed 6 people & 1,042 people injured. Ramzi Yousef was the guy behind it all & also a few others that were with him during this event. Ramzi was trained in Al Queda with his uncle. The reason for this attack was because they hoped, they would destroy America's main symbols of power. -
Bloody Massacre in Algeria
The group responsible for these deaths, attacked and brutally killed people. This group slit the throats of inoccent people, beheaded people, bashed childrens heads against walls, and burned people alive.There were also many other random acts of violence. In one of the burnings, more than one hundred people were killed. Presently, the violence is occuring because two terrorist groups are in disagreement. These groups are the GIA(Armed Islamic Group) and the IAS(Islamic Salvation Army). -
9/11
The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States In New York City. Four passenger airliners hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorist were flown so they could crash the twin tower buildings. Killed 2993 & 8900 injured. The terrorists did not have capacity to destroy the United States militarily, so they set their
aim on symoblic targets instead. -
Bombings in London.
A series of co-ordinated suicide attacks in London that targeted people using the public transport during the morning rush hour. Four terrorists placed four bombs, three in quick succession aboard London Underground trains across the city & later, a fourth on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square. As well as the four bombers, 52 people were killed and over 700 more were injured in the United Kingdom's first suicide attacks. -
Boko Karam Attack On Village
In Baga, Nigeria. Boko Karam is an Islamic jihadist militant terrorist organisation based in the northeast of Nigeria north Cameroon and Niger.It is an Islamist movement which strongly opposes non-Sharia legal systems, and what they deem. The organisation seeks to establish sharia law in the country. Boko Haram has links to terror outfits outside Nigeria, and its fighters have frequently clashed with Nigeria's central government. Boko Haram killed 187 people & 77 were injured on April of 2013.
