    In 1769 the first automobile was steam engined automobiles capable of human transport. In 1806 carses first internal combustion engine that ran on fuel gas that led to the production of modern gas line that started in 1885.

    In 1876 the telephone was invented by a man named Alexander Graham Bell. He said the famous words to his assistant in the next room "Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you".

    The radio was invented in 1895 and was called the wireless telegraphy. The radio all started when people found out radio waves.

    The great migration is african american families migrating to the north from the south. They moved to the south because the south is really racist and the north isnt as racist.

    The 19th amendment says that any U.S citizen prohibits denial to have the right to vote based on sex. They made this amendment so that women could have the right to vote.

    The emergency quota act was known as the emergency immigration act of 1921 or also known as johnson quota act. In 1921 they restricted immigrants to 3% who would be admited to the United states.

    The immigration act of 1924 was the U.S stopped letting immigrants in to the united states.

    The first tv broadcasting was in 1935 in Germany with american tv broacasting wich followed six years later in 1941. In 1949 their was a million tv's in the country.

    Franlin D roosevelt was elected president in 1932 and by March there were 13,000,000 unemployed and almost every bank was closed. He proposed a program to bring back businesses and agriculture.

    In 1933 the construction of the golden gate bridge was being built in San Francisco Bay. Also in 1933 political violence causes almost 100 deaths in Spain.

    The frisbee was invented from pie plates and a couple of kids realized that it could be tossed around and have fun for hours.
