Moctezuma ll 1502 be the empire of the Aztecs/Tenochtitlan. Before he came to a ruler he was a general and a very good one too. When his uncle died he took the throne and became emperor.

In 1502 Moctezuma was very religious and captured a large number of people. He captured all of them for his sacrifice.

In 1505-1510 he wanted to expand his empire. He also wanted to make his military bigger. So he conquered he got Mixtec and the Zapotec.

In 1510 he started asking for more and more Human sacrifice. A rebellion started to make him stop. And he became more and more hatred.

Moctezuma brought Cortez and his men to the capital then he got held hostage and lost all respect plus power.

Moctezuma ll died June 29, 1520, in Tenochtitlan. He died by getting striking by rocks and died a few days later. Also, Hernan Cortez conquered Tenochtitlan those days too. He died at age 54.
