Katniss Everdeen finds herself in District 13, rescued but bruised and broken from the quater quell. She realizes Peeta's taken in the capital. Her family is living in a "compartment" assigned to them, and Katniss and Gale are allowed to go hunting every once in a while. They live under the ruling attitude of President Coin, which Katniss dislikes. Finnick is also in a weird cindition from the Quater Quell -
Chapter 6-8. Pages 73-101.
Katniss and a camera crew go to district 8 to shoot a video to hack into the capital. But while theyre there. after visiting a hospital, it's burned down. All from capital bombing. -
Chapter 8-11. Pages 101-152
While in District 13, the rebels are bombed from Capital missels. And everyone is forced to stay underground in a bunk bed assigned to you and your family. -
Chapter 11-13. Pages 152-178.
Finnick and his lover, Annie get married. Katniss is very relieved to here that Peeta was rescued from President's Snow hostility, so when she goes to see him for the first time, he chokes her, almost to death. -
Chapter 13-15. pages 178-204.
Katniss comes to the realization that Peeta is a Capital mutt, and he wants to kill her, so she doesn't ever talk to him unless necessary. Boggs, coin, Gale, and Finnick are faced with the decision of trying to decide how to take over the last Capital driven district, 2. Gale suggests they bomb the main hideout, the Nut. -
Chapter 15-19 Pages 205-265.
When they go to the Nut and create an "avalanche", Katniss makes another propo, but is shot. Then when she is recovering, she rufuses to miss the final mission. So Johanna and her train and Katniss is chosen to go on the fight, being placed in a group with Peeta, gale, Boggs, and Finnick. -
Chapter 1921. Pages 265-290
While the crew goes off in the capital without the other rebels, they trigger a trap and Peeta looses his cool, and accidentally kills one of his team members, so keeps insisting on his death. Boggs is killed and blown up, and gives Katniss his Holo to de-activate the traps. -
Chapter 21-24. Pages 290-330
The group is driven into Capital citizen's dwellings, and dress themselves so they blend in. Then, Capital mutts that smell like President Snow's roses covered in blood chase them, and kill many people, includong Finnick. They hideout in a citizens fur store who knows Cressida, the filmmaker. Gale and Peeta speak to eachother about which one she will choose. -
Chapter 24- 26 . Pages 330-358
They all leave the girls house because of being in-danger to peacekeepers, and are disguised by the talented artist to look like random citizens. They all travel alone into the snow cold streets, and when Katniss and Gale find eachother, they hear and see people die from the rebels gunshots, so they run. Katniss finds Prim with a lot of other children, and then all of a sudden, BOOM! Explosions everywhere, and prim is a dead human torch, while Katniss is a living roasted human. -
chapter 26. Pages 358-388.
She awakens and speaks to President Snow in his mansion, and executed President Coin, but then President Snow dies. She is named mentally ill, but goes back to live in district 13 with haymitch for months on her own. When Peeta shows up, they fall in love, and years later, have children and tell them about the horrible times of the hunger games they once dominated in. THE END
