Fall
Misha is a young orphan boy and has nothing to do with having any information about him or his lost family. He just knows how to steal food and find a good shelter. -
Winter
He eventually meets an orphan boy older and smarter than Misha and his name was Uri. Usually Uri often guides Misha what to do when it comes facing the worlds real consequences as well how to survive in a place full of nazis. Msiha did develop his skills to be a smarter thief and also give back to the orphan community by just giving the remaining food left he had. -
Spring-Summer
The cold winter was finally gone and Misha was steal managing to find himself stealing food on the streets, one day when he was stealing food he came across a curious girl named Janina and she would always play games with Misha when he wasn't busy stealing food. But when it was in the middle of the summer Misha saw more nazis, but he calls them 'Jackboots'. More nazis created more problems in the town and leaving jews who didn't obey dead on the middle of the street. -
Fall
Misha has usually given food to the orphans in the orphanage house when he had the chance to do so, but instead he was helping Janina's family gather food for the harsh winter that was ahead of them. Misha joins the family and gets moved to the other side of the town which is called the Ghetto, This mostly restricted his ability to steal stuff considering it had walls around it but instead he found an opening to get to the other side of the Ghetto -
Winter-spring
Misha still finds himself stealing food on the other side which he slides through a hole through the brick around the part of town. Misha finds to believes everything a person says. Now since it is winter it is getting much colder, but coal supplies are at its lowest in that year so most of the time Misha is scavenging for coal to stay warm. Janina and Misha always play games together and hang out. More dead bodies are on the ground caused by nazis hitting them -
Summer-Fall
Misha has truly developed a relationship with janina's family, by providing enough food for them to survive. One day when Misha was smuggling food from a hotel controlled by the nazis he saw janina follow him and she was curious of what he was doing. Eventually Janina helped every night smuggling food with Misha, this was a huge issue considering both them could get kill if they were to be caught. -
Winter
The jewish family that Misha was living with for the past year and half have finally celebrated their religion and eventually celebrate hanukkah with Misha as being apart of the family. Although they are celebrating their religion one person in family dies which is janina's mother, its very sad that she died but they still try to celebrate hanukkah without the sadness and impact of the death. After Hanukkah there is a lot of talk about a train coming to the Ghetto to take all the jews. -
Spring-Summer
All the talk around the Ghetto about the train was true but that did not stop Misha walking around the place at night. Uri his friend warned him to get out but Misha loved this family of his and he loved having a family, so he did not listened to Uri and instead he stayed put over the summer. Misha new the train was heavily guarded with nazis and dogs so he knew not to go near there. Spring is over and the train has almost loaded everyone on the train. -
Summer
The train was on their station now and by now has loaded everyone on. Janina's Dad knew something bad was going to happen so he ordered Misha to take Janina and leave the city and to never return Misha did Has he said. While Misha was grabbing Janina she was whining and wanted to go the the train eventually she lets go of Misha's hand and runs to the train and jumps in and in the meanwhile Misha was chasing after her. The dogs barked The Nazis were ready to fire at him, until someone shot him -
Fall
Misha was still alive and was in confusion afterwards, the Ghetto was empty and Janina was gone. Misha was walking along until he met a person who kept him to do work in exchange for food. Misha worked long and usually for days. Days after days he wanted to leave but the family said it was not the right time to go. -
Spring
After two years of working for this family they have finally released him and he was back on his feet, Misha was suprised that the war ended and was glad that it did. Misha was a grown boy now and was wishing to see Janina through these years, he went and bought train tickets to go and find her but he had luck. But until one day he decided to move to America to find a good job and have a decent american life. He did commercials and other gigs when he was there. -
Misha
Misha did eventually find a wife when he was at America, but was always strange around people he would always have dreams about the war and dreams about Janina, he was acting very strange until his wife left him over his craziness. Time passes and now he is an elder stocking shelfs in a grocery store. His granddaughter comes over and sees him asking for him to name her middle name and right away he answers with Janina. The family does not know why but go with it anyways, Misha missed janina.
