Misha hears people yelling "HIMMLER IS COMING!" and goes to the parade and sees Himmler himself.

Janina followed Misha to the other side of the wall where he wnet through for is daily food stealing. She soon begins stealing food herself.

Uri warns Misha to run away from Poland, saying that jews were going to be cleared out of the ghetto. Soon afterward jews are put on trains and never seen again.

Misha and Janina were coming home after stealing food to find Janina's father gone. Janina runs to the trains with Misha behind her. Uri though knocks him out and wakes up with everyone gone.

After Uri knocks out Misha he wakes up with everyone gone and the train station deserted.

Misha sees the boy and the boy asks if he's a jew, he tells him yes and he brings him water back.

Farmer and his wife help Misha and nurse him back to health, but they make him work on the farm.

Time fast forwards to present day and Jack has a daughter and granddaughter, he makes his granddaughter's middle name Janina.
