Without the Tet Offensive America would still feel no need to invade North Vietnam as the U.S. only wanted to defend South Vietnam not take the entire country. America would only assist the south Vietnamese as they really did.
-
American support for the war would continue to fall with or without an invasion of the North as many Americas felt the war was unnecessary.
-
With Americans giving up support for the war it would become harder to win the war as politicians wouldn't want to escalate the war any further but the only way to win the war would be to go all out.
-
Politicians would have no options towards the end. They can't win the war and would have to find an alternative. The war would be a big dilemma for politicians who would start questioning if this war really needed to be won.

I believe the war would have ended just as it really did but it would have been a slow loss without the Tet Offensive. Americans were losing support for the war as time went on and so it was inevitable that the U.S. would have to remove all troops from Vietnam or political careers would be on the line.
