Michael Vick attends Homer L. Ferguson High School Vick first came to prominence while at Homer L. Ferguson High School in Newport News. As a freshman, he impressed many with his athletic ability, throwing for over 400 yards in his first game.

Michael Vick attends Virginia Tech University After high school, Michael Vick attended Virginia Tech. In his first collegiate game as a redshirt freshman against James Madison in 1999, he scored three rushing touchdowns.

APRIL 21, 2001 — Vick was selected number 1 overall by the Atlantic Falcons. At 20 years old that made him the youngest player to be selected in the nfl.

JAN. 4, 2003 — In Vick's first NFL playoff game, Vick leads Atlanta to a stunning 27-7 victory against the Green Bay Packers.

Sept. 12, 2010 — When Kevin Kolb suffers a concussion, Vick replaces him and leads the Eagles in their 27-20, season-opening loss to Green Bay. Vick finishes with 175 yards passing and rushes for 103.

Sept. 19, 2010 — With Kolb out, Vick starts against Detroit, his first time as a starting QB since 2006. He goes 21 of 34 for 284 yards and two TDs, runs for 37 yards, and the Eagles beat the Lions, 35-32.
