Michael Schumacher made his Formula 1 debut in 1991 at the legendary Belgium circuit with the Irish Jordan-Ford team.

In 1991, 1 race after his debut he joined the Benneton F1 team.
With Benneton he won 19 races and the 1994 and 1995 world drivers championships. -
In 1996 Schumacher joined the red coated Ferrari and there he won 72 races won the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 world championships and made history breaking a lot of world records including 100% podium finishes in a single season. In 2006 he retired from the sport and moved on to do other things.

In 2010 Schumacher joined the new silver arrows team named Mercedes. He was paired up with another German driver named Nico Rosberg and that made two German drivers drive a German F1 team (Mercedes). With Mercedes he wasn't very and thus only got a couple of podiums through out his time at Mercedes.

In 2013 Michael Schumacher was skiing with his son Mick Schumacher and there he hit a rock with his head. He was wearing a helmet but still got a brain tumour. Today he is still in hospital and is recovering from his tumour.
