Joseph was born in London in 1827 and died in 1912. He published a book called, Antiseptic Principle of the Practice of Surgery. He played a big part of being clean in the medical field. -

Louis Pasteur was born in France. He was born in 1822 and died in 1895. He discovered the germ theory of disease. -
Robert Koch
He was born in Germany in 1843 and died in 1910. He discovered the germ theory with Louis Pasteur. -
Wilhelm Roentgen
Wilhelm was born in Germany in 1845 and died in 1923. He discovered X-rays that are so very important now.
