    The car radio was invented in 1926 but became the most popular in June of 1930. It was invented by Paul Gavin when he thought that if he found a way to make radio for adorable, that he would become rich. So he found a way to put the radio into cars.

    The jet engine was originally invented in the 1930s by Frank Whittle and John Barber. Although the jet engine was invented in the 1930s, it didn't receive much recognition before 1941 when it made its first flight test

    Super glue was invented in 1942 by Dr. Harry Coover. Although super glue was invented in 1942, it became the most popular in the 1950s. Super glue was originally used to temporarily patch internal organs for soldiers that were injured until surgery could be preformed. Super glue was also used for making atomic weapons during the wars.

    Telstar was launched on July 10, 1962 by John Robinson Pierce. Telstar produced the first television pictures, telephone calls, and telegraph images. It also provided the first transatlantic television feed.

    Floppy disks were originally invented in 1967 by Alan Shugart. Although the floppy disks were invented in 1967, the floppy disk did get very popular until the early 1970s. Floppy disks were used for easily loading software and updates onto computers

    Text messages were invented on December 3, 1992 by Neil Papworth. Text messages were popular right off the bat because you were able to talk to your friends and family without hearing their annoying voices or because you just simply couldn't pick up the phone for whatever reason.

    Bluetooth was invented on May 7, 1998 by Jaap Haartsen. Although bluetooth was invented in 1998, it didn't become popular until late 1999 to early 2000.

    Social media was originally invented in 2004 but wasn't considered popular until the early to mid 2010s. Social media was, and still is, used to connect with people around the world or with the people right beside you.
