In the past they did not have money. So they would do bartering. bartering is is when you give somebody something so they give you something it's trading. for example I wil give you food for a cow. Bartering was difficult because some people couldn't agree on the value of something. -
cattle
After bartering they did cattleing. Cattleing was not only cow, sheep,or camels. They also had food like and vegetables and friuts. -
Cowrie shells
Cowrei shell are invented in China. So they worked like this they give more shells it is interesting but the less shells are not that inportant. -
gold coins
Gold coins are invented after cowrie shell. Gold coins had stamps on them to know how much they are. For ex A tiger for 1000 gold coins but you can use more then 1$. -
Credit cards and paper
After gold coins they had credit cards and basicly creidit cards are invisibal and paper money is money but it is made out of paper.
