He is the smaller of his family. He has 4 sibling. His parents are José Carrasco y María Galloso. Since he was little, he liked music. When he was 11, he got his first guitar. He satrted participating in school festivals. He used to compose "chirigotas" for the carnivals of his village. He studied informatics, but he started in his father bussiness as walls painter.

He was a participant of the second edition of the singing contest Operación Triunfo in 2002. He got the second place.
