    Segrigation was still a huge problem in america and even after this case it was still a big problem. The case kept on going up the drefferent courts in america until it was ruled that segregation was not constitutional. The south did not agree witgh this. This is VERY IMPORTANT.

    This is an act passed that give students with disabilities an oppertunity to be educated to the higest standard that they can achieve. This also made education free for these students.

    Ronald Reagan states that the american public education is doing a horrible job and it is doing no good for the youth of america.

    After "A Nation at Risk" this was put into act to raise the bar for all students. This would make schools forcus on the more important subjects.

  • School Choice Movement: Charter Schools, Vouchers

    This was used for the idea that compitition between schools would bring better performance. This did imporove many schools give people choice.

  • Growth of Standardized Testing

    Standardized testing is huge right now. This is a pretty good way to see how our education system is doing at a basic level.

  • No Child Left Behind, 2001

    This is an act put into place by president Bush. The goal is to make students and teachers more responsable for education.
