    The Battle of Shiloh was on April 6-7, 1862. This event took place in southwestern Tennese and the Union won.

    The Second Battle of Bull Run was on Aug. 28-30, 1862. This event took place in Prince William County, Virginia and the Confederate won. (If you noticed the connection between the first battle of bull run and the second battle of bull run is that both sides retrested and I think recouperated from the fighting)
