Begin my formal education in Head Start but everything was in spanish.

I study in Ignacio Dicupe Gonzalez in Lares, Puerto Rico. Between 1st thru 6th grade I had greats English teachers. They motivate us a lot.. They taught us the basic vocabulary but not enough to mantain a conversation.

I studied on Ramon de Jesus Sierra High School. On 11th grade I had a teacher that change my vision about the English language. He gave us inspiration to become bilingual person. Use a lot of strategies to acquire vocabulary and mantain a conversation.

This was my first bilingual experience. I became the First grade teacher for 2 years. I taught Social Studies and English.

I worked in C.A.D.E (for it's acronym in spanish Centro de Adquisicion y Desarrollo del Español). I became the spanish teacher for students with spanish limitations.
