    The Boston Massacre was an event that involved protesters protesting the occupation of their city by British troops. Five colonists were shot and killed by the British troops

    The Tea Act was passed to reduce the amount of tea held by the British East India Company. The Tea Act effectively lowered the price of the British East India Company’s tea in the colonies. Colonists merchants were cut out.

    After a fight between the American and Britain colonies, American politicians met in Philadelphia to make the Second Continental Congress. The Second Continental Congress raised arms, directed strategy, and appointed diplomats from each colony.
