    Tuesday's With Morrie
This book was a fun read in class for us. The teacher would always take a couple minutes before class ended to read us parrts of the book. And it was one of the memoirs I was introduced to and loved immediatly. Because of this book I know that you will be impacted by someone and you will imapct some else. Becuas eof this book I truly belive good people exsist and it doesnt matter how late you might thinkit is to reconnect, its really never to late.
  • A Raisin in the Sun

    A Raisin in the Sun
It was the first great book I read were blacks were not slaves. Naive you can say but it was one of the books were blacks were given a voice that although they were poor, they had ambition and as a family you could relate somehow. No family is perfect and living in poverty doesn't help but family is family no matter what. In some way you can relate a character to your own family.
  • Romeo and Juliet

    Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet was one of the last of Shakespeare work we read and I was captivated by the book since the first page. It was the right amount of tradgey and drama with the greaest love affair anyone can have. Te best thing about this was trying to remake it with a modern twist. Our inspiration was New York in the 20's.
  • Anthem

    Anthem
Anthem was my summer read for my sophmore year of high school and it truly was an intereting book. Someday I hated it and other days I couldn't put it down. In this dystopia the main character is challenge to be himself and be different knowing he could get killed or exiled or accepting what he needs to do and go with the flow. And this book is so important becasue I could relate to him and the situation he is out into.
  • The Great Gastby

    The Great Gastby
The Great Gastby was one of the books we read and I was fascinated because it was set up in New York during the 20's. I was captivated by the 20's in my history class and this book just made me love it even more. This was a book we read in class and were always trying figure out the mystery behind Gastby. Although you expect Nick to be the main character Gastby really sucks you to who he is.
  • Pygmalion

    Pygmalion
This is sort of the story that all girls like just because its the girl who was a catipillar and was turned into a butterfly. When this book was first given I was bored then I relealized that this is one of the inspiration for many gret movies and I started reading it in a different light.
  • As I Lay Dying

    As I Lay Dying
As I Lay Dying was one of those books that impacted me in the sense that it was a great read about a dyfuction family living in a poor time. My teacher at the time was a Faulkner fan and she made me love this book. I love coming back and looking for new clues about the story.
  • Death of a Salesman

    Death of a Salesman
For this book I was caught off guard because of all the problems this family had. The father was a loser who was trying to live through his son, cheated on his wife and was never happy. This book seem to relate to how many people feel once they look back on there lives because they don't achieve what they want but for me this made me realize to appricaite what you have and what you have accomlished not what you didn't.
  • Research Paper

    Research Paper
This was the biggest project I did throughout my school career. It was my senior year of high school and I had to write a reseach paper on Literary Merit using books, movies, music, poems, ect. My overall topic was The difference in Disney Movies to their origanal stories like the Grimm Brothers. And I read so much but in reading all of these books and poems and article ect. I realzie how easy it was to write not just this paper but all types of paper having to do with compaing and analzying.
