Frank and Hyojin are happily married and had a baby named Noah. Noah had hard time being away from his parents when he had to be with the babysitter.
Erikson's first stage, Trust vs. Mistrust.
Noah was so dependent of his parents and felt a sense of trust because his parents made him feel safe. Noah felt anxiety when he was with the babysitter because he was not used to be with them more often. -
Noah always wanted to pick his favorite toy for each day to play with and they were different toys all the time. He started to express what he liked and didn't like with choosing the food that he wanted to eat.
Erikson's second stage, Autonomy vs. Shame/Doubt.
This is the "me do it" stage; Noah started to show his independence and a lot of times his parents denied his desire and made him to less confident in himself. -
Noah was very shy and he had a small amount of friends in his class. He often complained that he is the only one who does not have his own phone in the class. He was very responsible with his school work and very good at listening to his parents.
Erikson's third stage, Industry vs. Inferiority.
Even though Noah had very shy personality, he always had a sense of pride in himself that attributed to having a successful school life and behaved very well with his family.
