    Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15th, 1452 in Anachiano, near Vinci Tuscany. His parents were Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci and Caterina da Vinci. Leonardo grew up to be one of the best known artists, he also was skilled in the areas of architecture, science, music, anatomy, literature, astronomy, history and many more areas. He contributed to the Renaissance Era and soon earned the nickname as the 'Renaissance Man'. Source: (Clayton 7)
