The Allies consisted of Great Britain, United States, France, and more. The Triple Entente was Germany, Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary, and more as well.

    The Great Depression was one of the hardest times for the U.S. The stock market crashed, the economy dropped extremely hard. People had hard times trying to find jobs and keeping them. Some people ended up becoming homeless, while others had to turn their electricity off to stay in their homes.

    World War 2 started in 1939. Like World War 1, there were 2 sides. The sides were called the Allies and the Axis Powers. the Axis Powers had Germany, Italy and Japan. The Allies Included included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.

    The Cold War was a war that never had any battles. The U.S. and the Soviet Union were against each other. They kept competing and trying to one up each other with nuclear weapons, until they decided to stop in 1991.

    The Vietnam War started in 1955. The 2 countries that were fighting were the U.S.A and Vietnam. All of the battles were fought in Vietnam, and the U.S. ended up pulling out in 1975 and did not complete their goal. Many U.S. citizens were against this war and didn't know why they were in Vietnam.
