    George Washington, born in February 22, 1732 in Virginia, of British family that migrated to America during the mid 17th century, was the first ever American president. He was the commander in chief of the continental army from 1775-1799 who defeated Great Britain in the American Revolutionary War; he was also the writer of the constitution in 1787.Before becoming a war general and president he was a politician in Virginia from 1759-1774.

    Martin Luther King Jr., born January 15 1929 was an American clergyman, Activist and the leader of the African-American Civil rights campaign. He is known for using non violent methods to make his voice heard taught to him by Gandhi. He held the Montgomery Bus Boycott and help found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. By the time of his death (assassinated April 4 1968 in Tennessee) he managed to spend his time at helping to end poverty and stop the Vietnam War.
