Bono released his first albun in 1980 called "Boy" . This required lots of courage because he did not know if people were to like his music. This inspires me because it takes lots of courage to be willing to realease a new album to the whole world -
(Sense of humor) Bono brings people to stage in his concerts
Bono has a sense of humor because in his concerts he is always tryinig to make his fans have the best time that they can. In his concerts he also at least brings one person to stage and sings him/her a song. He has a great sense of humor because he doesn't take his concerts seriously and is always making the audience have the best time possible. -
(Change master) Established the DATA foundation
In 2004, Bono used the advantage of being a recognized celebrity to create DATA. DATA,stands for Debt AIDS Trade Africa and it is dedicated to fighting AIDS and ending poverty in Africa. Bono used the opportunity he had with all the money and fame he had to create change and fight AIDS in Africa -
(Risk taker) Creates EDUN
His wife gave Bono the idea to create EDUN, a socially responsible clothing line. He took the risk to create it because he invested with his own money to create this company. And even though it was his money that was on the line, the profits that he wins he splits it half and half, one part goes to organizations worldwide and the other half he keeps it for his wife and him. -
(Big thinker) Time Person of the Year
Bono was named the time person of the year 2005. He is a big thinker, he always thinks how he can impact the whole wolrd through his music and influence to gather large donations and send them to organizations throughout the world. He is a great thinker and was recognized by time magazine and won the time person of the year -
(Persistent and realistic) Creates ONE non partisan Campaign
In 2005, Bono created One, a nonpartisan campaign to "Make Poverty History" and is supported by more than 100 nonprofit organizations as well as millions of individuals. He is persistent and realistic because he was persistent to keep fighting to diminish poverty through the world. He was also realistic because he knew that he will not be able to do this alone and invited non profit organizations and individuals willing to donate money to help. -
(Committed) Queen Elizabeth made Bono a knight
During the 21st century Bono has been very committed to his work. He helped fund many organizations throughout the world that solve world problems and was constantly seeking the well-being of the globe. For his commitment and hard-work, Queen Elizabeth made Bono an honorary knight -
(decision maker) Realeses song "Invisible" and donates all the money for AIDS
In 2014, Bono released a new song called "Invisible" and donated all of the money won by that song towards the cause of AIDS. He is a great decision maker because he decided it was of much more need to help a worldwide cause that has been struggling to find a cure. This shows his great decision making skills because he was willing to donate all the money he won in his new single to help AIDS research
