    Feudalism was popular in Europe from the 9th all the way to the 15th century. Hierarchy was still quite important during this time, the highest class was the king, then the nobles, then knights, and last was the peasants.the peasants work on a farm to get protection from the army.

King John was seen as God's spokesperson before Habeas Corpus, so the people thought that the king could do anything. the king ran everything , he could even throw innocent people in the dungeon .
