Kids that are of color like black were treated differently and didn't get real access to quality education. With this court case, it was something that was never fully realized/ But, it was something that helps us give equal protection to all citizens

    several children with mental disabilities, by and through their parents, filed this class-action lawsuit in the United States District Court of Pennsylvania against the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the state the board of education, and several named districts. The ruling was that it had required the states to evaluate and place students in a proper public education setting
