Lance was an outstanding athlete since he was a little boy. His lung capacity was way above average which meant he was extremly good at endurance types of competition. He rose up through the rank as an amateur and amazingly became a fully capable professional triathlete at the unbelievable age of 16. In the years 1989 and 1990 (age 17-18) he became a national sprint-course triathlon champion. Although, Lance Armstrong's interests soon changed and at that point he became enthralled with cycling.

  • Wins Again?!

    Wins Again?!
It's surprising at best that a cancer victim can at least compete in The Tour de France but to win it is a whole different ordeal. However he did it. In order to win he had to face Jan Ullrich and Marco Pantani two of the world's best bikers, whom he conquered to claim the title again.
