When George was a kid he was very plain. He didn't expect to become king because his father was next in line. -

Charlotte and George were married and crowned and their ceremony was quite unpleasant. First the candles exploded, then there weren't enough chairs, then Lord Talbot's horse backwards into the king and queen. Even though it was a crazy night King George had a great time. -

Charlotte and George had fifteen children named George, Fredrick, William, Charlotte, Edward, Augusta, Elizabeth, Ernest, Augustus, Adolphus,Mary, Sophia, Octavious, Alfred, and finally Amelia. -

King George started taxing the colonies because they needed money to pay their debt of the French and Indian War. First was the Stamp Act, and then the colonists fought back by throwing a whole boatload of tea into the Boston Harbor. The King was furious so he closed Boston Harbor.
