King David

    David passes to Solomon his pattern for the temple. Then Solomon is annointed a second time and now becomes co-rex. In private, David tells Solomon to walk with God, then to deal with Joab and Shimei son of Gera, the traitors. David dies a natural death at 70-75. He's buried in Jerusalem having served God's prupose in his own generation.
