The Bay of Pigs Invasion was an unsuccessful attempt by a CIA. The trained force of Cuban exiles invaded southern Cuba trying to overthrow the Cuban government. The Cuban armed forces trained by The Soviet Union defeated the invaders within 3 days.

The Freedom Riders were civil rights activists who would take the public transportation and then test newly anti-segregation laws. But the KKK tried to bomb the buses and cut the tires. They were trying to win against the activists.
