Family Influence Since Birth
My grandmother influenced me since my first years of life and throughout my teenage years. -
Elementary School
My Elementary School teachers gave me solid base in English as second language education. -
Middle School
I had excellent English teachers. I went to middle school, there I was motivated to start watching movies in English using the subtitles to make connections and understand. I have to admit that watching lots of movies in English made a huge difference. -
High School
I took classes with one of my best English teachers, Mr. Robles who taught me not to be afraid of speaking English. -
Thinking About My Future!
I decided I wanted to be an English teacher. During this year I graduated from High School, with honors. -
Graduation!
I started making my ESL certification. I am grateful I made this decision. Some years later, I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Certification In ESL. -
First Job Experience
This year was my first working experience with the Department of Education. This year was one of academic growth. I learned as much as my students did.
