    Karl Popper was born on July 28th, 1902 in Vienna, Austria. His father was Simon Siegmund Carl Popper, he was a rich, and successful lawyer. Karl Poppers mother was Jenny Schiff, she was a very talented pianist. Karl has three siblings. Two older sisters, Dora, and Annie. He was the youngest of the three. growing up he enjoyed classical music and had his very own scholars library. Although he was a fortunate child with successful parents. Karl always focused on the poverty in Vienna.

    The Logic of Scientific Discovery
    Karl Poppers first book was published in 1935. The book was called The Logic of Scientific Discovery. It’s based on the philosophy of science, here he argues that science should adopt the methodology based on falsifiability. He believed that no number of experiments can ever prove theory, but a reproducible experiment or observation can refute one.     Here Karl Popper wrote another famous book The Poverty of Historicism. Here he criticizes and disputes the existing scientific methodology of historicism. He rejects the essential concepts of historicism, to include that they just encounter to form prophetic and explanatory laws.

    On September 17th 1994, 20th century’s most influential philosophers of science passed away from complications of cancer, pneumonia and kidney failure. He had been working continuously on his philosophy until two weeks before, when he suddenly fell terminally ill. He dies at the age of 92.
