Karen was born at Kettering Hospital in Dayton. She was born two months early and only a fifty percent chance of surivial.

When Karen was almost seven years old, she moved from Moraine to Centerville with her teddy bear twinkles and gerbils Rosie and Johnny. She attended "Village South" which is now known as PVN.

After Karen went through elementary school and middle school it was time for her to start her High School Days at Centerville High School. She was a Bobby Soccer as a Freshman. Bobby Soccers are a group of girls in charge of Stats for the Boys Soccer Team.

First of three Summer canoe trips to the boundarry waters of Canada. Karen went canoeing with other students from Centerville and her older brother Mike

Karen became a college studnent at Wright State University. While working at Gold Circle Department Store.

Karen transfered colleges to Ohio University to persue a Communication Degree. Ohio University had one of the best Communication Degrees in the US.

Karen had her first big job at Metropolitian Insurance Company as a Sales Representative. She sold property insurance.

First trip to Germany to see the birth place of her parents in East Germany. After the fall of the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989.

Karen started working at Flagship Financial as a Bond Credit Analyst.

She graduated from UD with a MBA in finance. Karen spent two years at UD taking classes but still living in Centerville.

Karen marries a business man from Florida. Tom enjoys playing basketball and is adventurous. They went on their honeyoon in Aruba.

Karen became a portfolio manager at Key Bank. She managed money for private investers and institutions.

Karen had her first child on July 31, 1999. Elizabeth Rose is her name. Today Eliza goes to Centerville High School as a Freshman. Eliza loves to draw, play volleyball, and singing.

Karen gave birth at Miami Valley Hosipatal to Katherine Francis Stierle. She gets her first name from her mother Karen since Karen is a form of Katherine. Her middle name "Francis" she shares with her father Tom.

Karen was diagnosed with Breast Cancer which began a year-long series of surgeries and treatments.

After Karens mom Elisabeth passed away, she took a trip to Germany to visit family friends and learn about her heritage.

Karen has her side of the family over every year at Christmas time for some herring salad that her dad makes. Elisabeth, Karen's mother makes cookies to share the Holiday Spirit.
