    In 2009, Kamikaze Producciones made its first theatrical performance, "La función por hacer" (The performance to be made) directed by Miguel del Arco and Aitor Tejada.Surprisingly, despite being their first theatrical creation, "La función por hacer" won 7 MAX awards in 2009 in the 12th edition of the MAX Awards, becoming the most awarded of the gala.

    Another victory at the MAX Awards
    In the 14th edition of the MAX Awards 2011, Kamikaze Producciones is once again successful after winning 5 MAX Awards with the play "Veraneantes" ("Summer Visitors") :
    - Best Theatrical Adaptation: Miguel del Arco.
    - Best Leading Actress: Bárbara Lennie.
    - Best Musical Composition: Arnau Vilà.
    - Best Theatre Show.
    - Best Private Producer

    "De ratones y hombres" (Of Mice and Men), original work by John Steinbeck adapted by Miguel del Arco.
    Miguel del Arco's adaptation of John Steinbeck's play won in 2013 the Valle Inclán Theatre Prize, the Ercilla Prize for Best Performance and the Community of Madrid Culture Prize. Another success for the company.

    In October 2013, Jordi Buxó begins his collaboration with Kamikaze Producciones in the production of "Misántropo" (Misanthrope). In 2014, Jordi Buxó created the company Buxman Producciones.

    In Spain, there are two really important theatre festivals: the Almagro Festival and the Mérida International Classical Theatre Festival. In this last one, Kamikaze Producciones received in 2015 the Best Business Trajectory Award, so it started to be a really important theatre company (if it wasn't already).

    With this performance in 2016, Kamikaze Producciones received the Ercilla Award for Best Artistic Creation 2015 and Barbara Lennie, play's actress, was awarded with the Best Actress in a Leading Role Award 2015 by the Spanish Actors and Actresses Union. One year before, in 2014, she won the Goya Award thanks to her play in the film "Magical Girl".

    In November 2016, Miguel del Arco directs "Las furias" (The Furies), his first full-length film. The film was made with the collaboration of the Spanish Government's public audiovisual service (RTVE) and Kamikaze Producciones.
  • Creation of "El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze"

    Creation of "El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze"
    In December 2016, El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze was born, directed by Miguel del Arco and Israel Elejalde in the artistic direction and by Aitor Tejada and Jordi Buxó at the head of the management. It is the result of the merger between Kamikaze Producciones and Buxman Producciones. Both companies still exist separately, but the vast majority of the work is done together.

    25th Edition of the Rojas Theatre Awards
    In 2017, El Pavón Teatro Kamikaze did one of its most important works: "Hamlet". For Miguel del Arco "the contemporary look is not to put Hamlet in jeans. It is that Hamlet is saying things that directly affect you, now, as a citizen of the 21st century". This work was awarded in the 25th edition of the Rojas Theatre Awards with:
    - Best Actor: Israel Elejalde.
    - Best Art Direction: Miguel del Arco.
    - Best Theatre Performance: Hamlet.
  • National Theatre Award 2017: "The Kamikaze Theatre offers quality theatre for all audiences".

    National Theatre Award 2017: "The Kamikaze Theatre offers quality theatre for all audiences".
    The most prestigious award that a theatre company can receive in Spain is the National Theatre Award. It was awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport "for the implementation of a collective project in which the various branches of stage creation are developed with excellence: direction, dramaturgy, production and interpretation".
    The Ministry also praised Kamikaze for "the courage of its proposals and the support of a faithful audience that supports this unique project".

    Jauría is a play created from the transcript of the jugdment of La Manada (five men raped a teenage girl during the San Fermín festival in Pamplona). The play is constructed from fragments of statements by the accused and the complainant. A documentary fiction based on very real material, which allows it to be transferred to the mind of the victim and the perpetrators.

    In addition, on November 25, 2019, the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence, Jauría was awarded the Prize Against Gender Violence by the Ministry of Equality of the Government of Spain.
