He is the main rapper, lead dancer, and a vocalist of the co-ed group KARD. He represents the letter A and the Ace card in K.A.R.D .The ace can either be the lowest card that supports the team or the highest card that is sharp. -

Matthew Kim, also known as BM ( Big Matthew) (born in Los Angeles, California, United States on October 20, 1992) is a Korean-American rapper and singer under DSP Media . He is the main dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist of KARD. He represents the K in K.A.R.D. BM, who is the King, explained that the king is the most dependable and strongest card, so he is the team’s solid foundation. He also has 2 younger brothers. -
Somin
Jeon Somin was born on August 22, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea) She is a South Korean singer. She is the main vocalist and visual in the co-ed group KARD. She represents the letter R, which refers to the black joker. She said, “Depending on the situation, the black joker can be the best card, so I will show the various appeals that I have.” -
Jiwoo
Jeon Jiwoo was born on October 4, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea)She is the maknae( the youngest member) main dancer, lead vocalist, and rapper in KARD. .Jiwoo represents the letter R, which is the color joker. Jiwoo explained, “I’m in charge of making our group’s singing, rapping, and dancing, and music colorful.” -
Pre Debut J.Seph and BM
J.Seph trained for five years, while BM trained for four and a half years under DSP Media. The label originally planned to debut them in a hip-hop duo, but this was changed later on. Prior to his debut, BM was featured in Goo Ha-ra's song "La La La" from her 2015 debut EP Alohara (Can You Feel It?), and was also her dance partner for the music video and live performances of its lead single "Choco Chip Cookies". -
Pre Debut Somin
Somin was previously a member of DSP Media's Japan-based girl group Puretty, which disbanded two years after its debut in 2012.[1] She later joined Kara Project, where she competed to become a new member of KARA and finished in second place. On August 24, 2015, she debuted as leader of DSP Media's girl group April, but she decided to depart from the group on November 9. Then Somin joined K.A.R.D. -
Pre Debut Jiwoo
The last member of the group was Jiwoo, who had trained under FNC Entertainment for two years and moved to DSP Media in 2016, where she only trained for two months before debuting with Kard. -
