In February 1946, Juan Peron was elected president. He had 56% of the popular votes. He was soon starting his job as president. -
Eva's Death
On July 26, 1952, Evita Peron died. She had died from advanced cervical cancer. She was given the name of "Spiritual Leader of the Nation" by the Argentine Congress. -
