    I started dance again and that was a time of searching for my true self because I didn't know if I would still like doing it. This relates to Laurence because he didn't even know if he would like sports but he tried them even though he failed.

    I was told I had a cancerous tumor and that was a hardship for me because I felt alone. This was like Laurence because he felt alone and separated from his friends and family because of his asthma.

    I got chickens and this revealed I was unique because most kids don't choose chickens for a pet. This connects to Laurence because he realized that he was uncomfortable with most killing unlike a lot of other boys.

    I dyed my hair green and that revealed I was unique because most people don't dye their hair that color. This connects to Laurence because even though asthma isn't good it was something that wasn't very common and was apart of who he was.
