Jonas' Curiosity

  • Colors

Jona's started seeing something weird in an apple and Fiona's hair. He didn't knew how to describe it because it was something he hadn't experienced before. It was the color red, and he was very curious about what it was.
  • Memories and Books

When Jonas started his training he couldn't understand why memories and books were banned. He knew that they were amazing and he was eager to know why they could be banned. For Jonas it was something he wanted to share.
  • Sharing

Jonas wanted for his friends to experience the memories that the Giver had shown him. He wanted to know what his friends would say. We wanted to share his knowledge given by the Giver.
  • It didn't work

After trying to share the memories, Jonas was sad. He wasn't able to share with his friends. He was really curious about why he could receive and others couldn't.
  • Rosemary

There was a receiver before Jonas called Rosemary. Jonas was very curious about what had happened to her because she had been released. Jonas atention was caught by the fact that Rosemary's release took the memories she had back to the people.
  • Stirrings

Jonas wanted to feel stirrings. He was very curious about it because when it happened for the first time he liked it, but he didn't understand why it was wrong. He was intrigued by "feeling".
  • Painful Memories

Jonas already had seen a lot of memories that the Giver had shown him, but he wanted more. He knew that the training would be painful so he wanted to know how much. He wanted to see why all the "bravery" was needed.
  • "Love"

Jonas was very curious about the word "love". He decided to ask his parents if they loved him, but instead they responded that they "enjoyed" him. He was wondering why something as beautiful as love would be banned.
  • Realease

Realeasing was a term that Jonas heard very often, but he didn't knew what really happened. He knew they went "Elsewhere", but he was very confused. With Jonas' curiousity he has to find out and was really shocked about the fact that people were killed.
