    Johnny is woken up from his sleep by Cilla who wants Johnny to help her take care of Isannah. They go down to the docks where they sit and Johnny tells Cilla more about his life and how he is related to the Lytes. He then proceeds to show cilla his silver cup which his mother had given him to show to the Lytes had everything turned against him. This is fiction.

    While creating a sugar basin for John Hancock, Dove and Dusty agree to give Johnny a cracked crucible as a joke. When the hot silver that Johnny was using starts to spill he throws his hand overtop of it causing great pain. After awhile of it healing Johnny takes off the bandages to find out that his thumb and index finger are melted together and that he can no longer be a silversmith. This event is fiction.

    After Johnny finds out that he can't be a silversmith he wanders through Boston trying to find a job. Most people say that they no longer need an apprentice but when he finally finds someone who is willing to take him, they refused because he had burnt his hand. This event is fiction.

    After a long time of searching Johnny walks into a place called the Boston Observer. There, he meets a nice young fellow named Rab who offers him food while they talk to each other. After talking Rab offers him a job to work at the observer. Johnny says that he will consider this offer and says farewell. This is fiction.

    After Johnny shows merchant Lyte his silver cup he is immediately accused of stealing. When Lyte throws him in jail Rab comes to tell him a 100% plan that will allow him to be found not guilty. When he gets taken to court Cilla and Isannah side with Johnny and prove that Johnny is found not guilty. This is also fiction.

    After a meeting or two with the Boston Observers, Johnny decides that he will help the Patriots with the Boston Tea Party. While he was chopping open crates aboard the ship, he notices Dove stealing tea. After telling Rab, Rab throws Dove overboard as their mission was to throw the tea away, not steal it. The Boston Tea party was an actual historical event while the other parts weren't.

    Johnny attends the final meeting of the Boston Observers where James Otis makes a surprise appearance. After arguing with him they decide to set up a spy system. Also what happened at this meeting was them discussing the fact the British forces had taken rebel gunpowder. James Otis made everyone reflect back on things when he said “We give all we have, lives, property, safety, skills ... we fight, we die, for a simple thing. Only that a man can stand up”. Fictional, other than James Otis.

    After living with Rab for so long, he no longer had to deal with Dove or Dusty. However, when he was visiting the stables he ran into Dove who was being bullied. After standing up for him he decides to befriend him so he can get information from him about the British's plans. This is fictional.

    When Goblin is going to get whipped, Pumpkin mouths the word spurs that make goblin run. Afterwards Johnny goes to the Lapham house and sees Pumpkin and makes him a deal. In the end Johnny got Rab a brand new musket which he was wanting. This is fictional

    After taking the general's horses out Johnny hears the beat of the drums. He turns around to see deserters getting executed. Among those people he sees Pumpkin who when Johnny saw start to get shot, made Johnny feel terrible. British executing deserters is true, other parts not so much.

    After having Dove over at the Boston Observer, both Rab and Johnny give him alcohol so he will start to tell them information. After extracting enough information from him the two boys let him go. Johnny then sends this information over to Dr. Warren and Paul Revere. This is fictional.

    After waking up inside of Dr. Warrens office Johnny is surprised when Warren tells him to stay back and gather information. After he gathers enough information he is to go back to Charlestown. This is fiction.
  • Johnny makes it to Charlestown

    Once Johnny finally arrives in Charlestown he wanders trying to find Warren. Along the way he asks if they know who all are hurt. When he reaches Warren he finds Rab severely wounded. Rab tells Johnny to go away so he won't have t see him die This is fiction.
  • Johnny understands the rebellion

    After returning to find a dead Rab, Johnny decides he is going to help with the rebellion as much as he can. Dr. Warren tells Johnny that he can fix his hand as long as he allows Johnny to do so. When Johnny agrees Dr. Warren starts to prepare his tools. While doing so Johnny takes a step outside, then realizes, what this war is about
