Sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment. He was released after only serving 18 months of the 10 year sentence.

16 year old Timothy McCoy, orginally from Nebraska but lived in Glenwood, Iowa. He was visiting an aunt in Michigan and on his way back home via bus. He was just passing through Chicago. JWG admits to picking him up at the Greyhound bus station and taking him back home and killing him by stabing him. The investigators later find a large blood stain on the underside of the carpet in Gacy’s bedroom. His Headstone says the 2nd of January but Gacy admited that he killed Timothy on the 3rd.

18 year old John Butkovich was an employee of Gacy's. Butkovich disappeared after him and JWG got into a heated argument about a paycheck.

14 year old Samuel Stapleton disapeared on the 13th on a walk home from his sister's residence.

16 year old Jimmy Haakenson was last heard from on Aug. 5, 1976. He had called his mom to tell her he had gone to Chicago.
He was Victim 24. His remains were found buried in the crawlspace of Gacy's Chicago-area house. He wasn't identified until July 6th, 2017. -

18 year old Darrell Samson. He worked for a carpeting company in Libertyville. He had gone to Gacy's home under the pretense of a construction job offer and was brutally murdered. He was the only body found underneath the floor boards in the dinning room.

The Trial lasted 2 to 3 months.

At 12:58 a.m. at Stateville Correctional Center, Crest Hill, Illinois. The chemicals became clogged in the tube. The curtains of the viewing window were closed while they got a new tube and new chemicals. His last words were, "Kiss my ass".
