    John Tyndall was a man of science—draftsman, surveyor, physics professor, mathematician, geologist, atmospheric scientist, public lecturer, and mountaineer(Steve Graham 1999 pg. 1). He was unmarried until he was in his 50s. He was so dedicated on his work that he ended up marrying late in his life. (Roland Jackson, July 31 2020, pg. 1). He was one of the first researchers to discover greenhouse gases like co2 and how they heat up the globe.

    John Tyndall significance on science

    Unfortunately his work was not properly published so he didn't get all the credit he deserved however, his work had opened up many new subjects within science(Steve Graham,1999,pg1). He also has multiple objects and buildings named after him, like the the Tyndall National Institute and the Mount Tyndalls. One of the reasons he is not as known worldwide is because no bibliography was published on him (Roland Jackson, 2020,pg1).

    John Tyndall was a scientist, physicist, and more who was one of the first scientist to discover how gases trap heat. He also discovered how some gases are colorless and odorless while some have distinct smell and color.

    John Tyndall is a man of multiple degrees that discovered many things in his lifetime. He also made speeches and made books to simplify it to the masses. Although his wife failed to make a biography on him, his work is coming to light and now people are starting to notice his contribution to science.
