    The south was hit with late snow. Many people in Johns regiment including himslef enjoyed a good snowfight. John wrote home telling about joy, and happiness he hasnt felt in a long time. Little moments like this made war a little more bearable for soldiers.

    This conflict in the civil war ended in less than a month. It started in March 29th 1865 and ended in April 9th 1865. General E. Lee did not succeed in making his point to the Union. His plan backfired and he was forced to Surrender.
