Stanford began 1982 season in fire fashion, defeating purdue on the road, 35-14. They went on a streak and also beat Ohio State, 23-20 as Elway completed 35 0f 63 passes for 407 yards. going on a great season. Elway was probably one of the best quarterbacks that they have seen. Even when people will try to come and take his spot he will always be competitive and fight for his spot. -

John Elway started dating Janet Buchan his sophomore year at stanford. She was a champion swimmer on the stanford team. The two became a popular couple around campus. Elway had to play against his father’s team San Jose State, they met for a total of 4 times once a year during John elways four college seasons. John elway had to go to stanford and had to play on a team that didn’t really win a lot of games. so he was new to a team that wasn’t really that good, but he brought them back and gave them some competition. John Elway is a very competitive man. his father said that playing baseball really helped him out getting a strong arm and having a fast ball. he was going take baseball for a career but, he admitted that he loved the game football. -

well Baltimore struck a deal with the Denver Broncos, which got elway in return for backup quarterback mark herrmann; offensive lineman Chris Hinton, whom the broncos selected in the first round of that year’s draft. Elway signed a six-year, $12.7 million contract with the broncos. that was one of the largest contract that was offered to an NFL rookie deal. so lots of people were hating on elway and saying negative remarks like he needs to grow up and pay his dues. -

Elway has had a lot of problems when he was feeling down and not ready to play. but when elway is in his mood he is ready and has a great opportunity to win and do really good during the football game. -

The broncos played the San Francisco 49ers and that game was the most lopsided game in NFL history the broncos were defeated 55-10. I thought his Super Bowl performance was very poor. -

Elway was tired of losing the Super Bowls that he has once stood in several times. Now it was time Elway gets a Super Bowl Win over the green bay packers. As they played there was a lot of pressure and a lot of disappointment but the Denver Broncos stuck with it and walked away with the win. 31-24 -
