During his presidency President Carter had decided to give control over the Panama Canal back to Panama.

The Camp David Accords were the first treaty signed by countries from the Middle East. This was between Egypt and Israel.

Carter fought extremely hard to save the hostages, but was unable before the end of is term. Minutes after Ronal Reagan was inagurated the ostages were set free.

North Korea Nuclear Dispute
