The Patriots beat the Steelers in the AFC Championship in Jerome Bettis' (supposed) last season. He was crushed because he thought it was his last game. His teammates wanted him to end his career on a high note, so they tried to convince him to come back for one last season, one last try at the Super Bowl. He decided he would come back for the 2005-2006 season because he saw that they all felt very strongly about him coming back.

The Jaguars took full advantage of the situation and scored on their next drive, which turned out to be the winning score.

Late in the game, all they had to do was score to ice the victory, but they fumbled inside the 5-yard line and a Colts player almost returned it for a touchdown.
